Meyer VaultLink is PC software that allows our clients to electronically transact with Meyer’s VaultWare system. It puts you, the customer in the driver’s seat of a friendly Windows based data management and reporting tool, providing excellent access and control of your off-site data management program and media.

With Meyer VaultLink, you can track your media using your computer rather than printed-paper. As a user, you may also add your own additional data fields to expand your ability to describe, categorize, and personalize your media information. For those users that only care to know the whereabouts of a particular tape, it’s at your fingertips. Meyer VaultLink users will vary in terms of how much of the program’s capabilities you choose to utilize. Even at the most basic level of use, this software provides a valuable service link between you and Meyer VaultWare.

In short, Meyer VaultLink puts a database of your off-site programs media movement inventory on your office PC. Through transaction exchanges with the Meyer VaultLink Server via the Internet, you keep your inventory data in synch with Meyer VaultWare. Additionally, as a user, you may create and submit orders, update return dates and descriptions and send messages via the Internet. You can view your data, create custom reports, and analyze your data in numerous ways.

Prior to the existence of Meyer VaultLink, data such as label numbers, return dates and descriptions had to be handwritten by Meyer customers onto transmittal forms and then entered by Meyer vault personnel into Meyer VaultWare.

With Meyer VaultLink, you personally key that same information into your PC, print a transmittal report and transmit the data directly to Meyer Data Vault for automatic updating. As a Meyer VaultLink client, you may also access your tape inventory information directly from your own PC rather than from a stack of transmittal forms.
