Our Firelock data vaults are the premier vaults manufactured today. The vaults were built to meet all National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards. To comply with NFPA standards, our data vaults will maintain interior temperatures below 125 degrees Fahrenheit (the temperature magnetic media is damaged) if the vault was subjected to temperatures up to 2,000 degrees.
·
High Temperature Insulation.
Chamber walls constructed from spun ceramic material capable of withstanding
temperatures well above 2000 degrees for five hours of testing
·
Magnetic Shielding.
Components protect against interference due to electromagnetic fields
·
Vapor barrier.
Protects against smoke and steam.
·
Double Door Construction.
Includes a thermal break to increase the heat barrier.
·
Dual Controlled Locks
·
Sealant prevents pass-through
in walls and roof.
·
Self-sealing Cable
Tray. Protects electrical and communication
cables against heat transfer
·
Temperature and humidity
are maintained at optimum levels to protect media from deterioration (68°-70°F, 30%-33%H).
·
Programmable thermostat
and humidistat.
·
HEPA filters and duct
assembly provide absolute environmental control and ensures proper air circulation
while maintaining vault integrity.
·
Weekly temperature
and humidity tracking results are available to media clients.
· Readings are recorded and 24/7.
·
FM-200 gaseous clean
agent fire suppression system protects against fire inside the vault synchronized
with smoke detectors and fire alarm.
·
Fire alarm rings at
local fire station, shuts down AC and releases FM-200 extinguishing agent.
